City council of Elyria Ohio enacts an ordinance to proceed with a Hawthorn Street water main from Greely Street to Sycamore Street, leveraging prior resolutions and adopted plans. Assessments levy a one fiftieth exemption for hydrants, with ten annual installments at up to six percent interest, and optional cash payment within thirty days. Funds from Water Works and Safety Funds cover non specially assessed costs and hydrant payments.
The Elyria Ohio city council cites Resolution 1721 and authorizes a sewer project on Hawthorne Street from Poplar to Sycamore. The plan includes cost sharing, installment payments, and bond funding, with damages and remaining costs handled by the General Sewer Fund. A contract to the lowest bidder is authorized upon legal advertisement.
