Time Guessing Game Starts Sunday In Ohio

Ohio towns brace for daylight saving time changes as clocks jump 2 am Sunday. The Ohio Bell rule of thumb flags western central and southern areas sticking to standard time while northern and southeastern cities switch to daylight time. Cities listed include Cleveland Painesville Akron and Youngstown with Columbus Cincinnati and Toledo as notable exceptions. For Ashland daylight time starts 10 days after the national switch. May 6 is pivotal for Sandusky and a mayoral veto fate. The list can change as neighboring towns decide classifications.

Bible from 1734 Found in Carthage College Cleansing

An ancient Bible printed in 1734, lost 29 years, was discovered during a Spring house cleaning at Carthage College. It had been presented to the school in 1923 by J. D. Cheney of Mendon and shows Cheney family records dating to 1730. The volume was hidden in a wall safe in the business office and remains readable.
