Austria Marionettes Tour Brings High Brow Puppetry to U S
The Salsburg Marionettes from Austria tour America with operatic and ballet focus. Their puppets are highly realistic with multiple joints and carved torsos, requiring two operators per figure. The troupe adapts familiar tales like Red Riding Hood Cinderella and Snow White, weaving classical music into the performance.
