Teen pirate Muse led Maersk Alabama raid
Prosecutors say Abdiwali Abdiqadir Muse, 18, was the brazen ringleader aboard the Maersk Alabama, first to board, fired at the captain, and helped steal $30,000. He faced piracy charges in federal court with a mandatory life sentence, while defense lawyers argued he is a frightened youth and should receive protections.
