North Ridgeville group seeks city run library approval
North Ridgeville officials and residents urged Ohio House Local Government Committee to allow the city to establish its own library. They cited delays and limited access at the Lorain system branch, housed in Olde Towne Hall, and appealed for passage of Rep. John Bara’s bill. The Lorain library board opposed the measure, citing funding and control concerns as the hearing proceeded with no date set for further testimony.
