NORWALK More than 20 Boy Scout troops and Explorer posts in Huron County will join the Spring Camporee at the Fairgrounds this weekend starting tomorrow. A marksmanship and small arms handling exhibition by Frank Trease of Columbus will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday open to the public. Charles Cummings of Willard is named director, assisted by James Anderson, Frank Mitchell, Herb Mann, and John Sabol. Participating units will set up camps. streamers will be awarded for outstanding performances. Rev. Paul Carpenter will lead Protestant services and Catholic boys will attend Mass at St Paul’s Church.

Six Drivers Fined In Wellington Traffic Crashes
Six drivers paid fines totaling 210 dollars in Wellington for traffic violations this week. James Sprath of New London led with a 140 dollar fine and license suspension for driving under the influence. Others from Wellington, New London, and nearby towns paid smaller fines for reckless operation mufflers speeding and related offenses.
