Akron firm wins contract for Lake Avenue water main work
The Akron based A S Helbig Co won a 1 187 795 contract to replace about 8 000 feet of water mains as part of Lake Avenue widening in Lorain County. ODOT funding is expected Sept/Oct with construction starting within months of final approval. The project aims to replace 1906 and 1935 mains jeopardized by heavy equipment.
