President Anwar Sadat dissolved the 360 member National Assembly after a near unanimous referendum approval and announced June 7 as election day. The new 382 member body will convene June 23 with 30 seats reserved for women and half of remaining seats for workers and farmers. Prime Minister Mustafa Khalil may resign to form a cabinet with minor changes.
