Bomb blast injures many at Boston courthouse
A bomb exploded on the second floor of the Suffolk County Courthouse in Boston after a warning call. At least 19 injured, more than 300 evacuated as investigators searched for more devices. A suspect description was obtained from a victim who saw the package placed near an elevator. Home warranty plan endorsed by Lorain County Realtors
The Lorain County Board of Realtors yesterday endorsed a voluntary home warranty program, the Home Protection Program, for used homes. It aims to disclose defects, reduce buyer loss from undisclosed defects, and shield Realtors from liability. The plan is backed by the National Association of Realtors and may cost about 225 for a 30000 home, with 18 month coverage. Inspections cover electrical, HVAC, plumbing, roof, structure, and foundations, with reimbursement for undisclosed defects under the warranty or insurance terms.
