Dorothy Mackaye may face complicity in murder case
Los Angeles April 72 Dorothy Mackaye the alleged mistress of Paul Kelly who stands charged in the bare knuckle murder of her husband Ray Raymond a musical comedy star may be questioned for complicity in the crime. District attorney Ellis Eagen said no indictment evidence has been found but Mackaye’s presence in Kellys apartment when he went to confront Raymond suggests possible instigation. Mackaye to be questioned after recovery from a nervous breakdown. The district attorney indicated a speedy trial for Kelly and no bail. Also referenced bronze age skull found in chalk tomb with intact teeth.
