Wakeman man sentenced to 14 years in drug case
Randell Coy Troutman age 60 was sentenced by Lorain County Common Pleas Judge Raymond Ewers to 14 years on two indictments. He received 10 years for possession of crack cocaine and 4 years for a half kilo of cocaine found in his car trunk during a sting. Police stopped him in Amherst Township and seized more than $97,000 in cash and guns. The money will be turned over to law enforcement for future investigations.

Lorain man shot again in 2010 shooting incident
Tyrone White, 20, was wounded in a Thursday morning shooting near West 22nd Street and Beech Avenue, the second such incident in two years. A witness reported gunshots and a red four door vehicle fleeing, with White admitted to Mercy Regional Medical Center. White previously was shot on August 18, 2010, to the right leg, after claiming robbery and resisting police. He has a record including assault and receiving stolen property.
