Amherst Township offers upfront sewer fee option

Amherst Township residents can pay sewer assessments upfront at the Lorain County auditor’s office on 226 Middle Ave Second Floor Elyria between now and May 29. The notices discuss sewer to Lorain and agency appointments with regional officials and an annex hearing set for June 28 at 1030 am in the county administration building. A Sherrod Brown online survey invites constituents to weigh eight topics including Medicare reform and Great Lakes drilling. Two Bicycle Safety Courses Offered in Elyria

Elyria Parks and Recreation offers a series for ages 16 to 80 with cycling experience to become more confident riders. Four sessions run May 6 May 9 May 11 and May 13 at East 16th Grafton Road center with a $35 fee. Register at (440) 322-1051.
