Slow meters cost rural water agency hundreds of thousands
The Rural Lorain County Water Authority reports about 380000 in losses over three years due to slow water meters failing to read low flow usage. The meters from Sensus and installed by Johnson Controls are under review for 20 000 customers in 2011 2012 with a warranty covering the nearly 8.8 million contract, officials say.

Trail Magic film about Emma Gatewood debuts in Elyria
A documentary titled Trail Magic The Grandma Gatewood Story screens at 6 p.m. Saturday at First Congregational United Church of Christ in Elyria. Admission is five dollars.
