Avon vigil sparks outrage over death penalty prayers
Angel Vincent's relatives walked out of a St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church vigil after prayers opposed to the death penalty. Angel, 16, was raped, kidnapped and murdered in 1988 by Darryl Durr, who faces execution Tuesday. Her uncle Richard Rodriguez protested the prayers and left with family members.

New light going in at I-480 ramp
