The 1972 annual report of the National Easter Seal Society shows contributions rising to a new high of 79 million in 1971. Funds supported services to nearly a quarter million disabled persons in 1972. The Easter Seal Society is the nation’s largest voluntary organization aiding people with disabilities.
The Elyria Memorial Hospital Auxiliary will hold its annual meeting and volunteer appreciation on May 7 at 9:30 a.m. in the hospital auditorium. The program includes Seconds Count detailing emergency procedures when a code 99 is flashed. Special recognition will honor volunteers with the most hours of service.
