Late yesterday a four year old boy John Mepera was struck by a car driven by Orville Hastings in Lorain near West Avenue and 16th Street. The boy was unconscious, later revived with a possible skull fracture and was taken to Memorial hospital where he improved overnight. The accident was described as unavoidable.
