Veteran Ties Readiness to Return to College after War
Lieutenant Schoble, wounded near the Argonne and blinded in one eye by shrapnel, returns home to resume studies. He is aided by the American Legion and faculty who adjust exams to oral quizzes while he works to master Braille. Comrades and post leaders promote his progress as the community honors his sacrifice.
