Abduction near Lorain County park ends in prison
In May 2008 a woman was abducted at gunpoint while walking the Duck Pond at Lorain County Metro Parks. Matthew Plas was later captured with a 30 year sentence for kidnapping attempted murder and related charges. The victim was paralyzed from a back shot.
