Elyria man critically wounded in Court Street shooting
A 31 year old Lorain man Richard Oliver Jr was shot behind First Merit Bank at 105 Court St in Elyria. He was rushed to EMH Regional Medical Center and later to MetroHealth in Cleveland in critical condition. Police reported one handgun used and seized a bullet and casing. Oliver's cousin said the wounds include the spine and leg and he is undergoing surgery. Investigators seek information at the Elyria Police Department.
