Hospital Costs Debate Skips Public Forum In Cleveland
A Brook Park Dem Club sponsored forum on hospital costs and Blue Cross contracts became a three way clash after the Greater Cleveland Hospital Association refused to participate. Southwest General Hospital faced sharp questioning from about 200 residents, Blue Cross officials, and a moderator from Brook Park. The forum highlighted concerns over rising costs and insurance premiums with Blue Cross executives defending their pricing and consolidation efforts.
