Grafton Council Approves Police Officer Changes
Grafton City Council voted to promote a special driver to part time and reduce another part time officer to special duty. Dispatcher Ruby Micachaels, sworn in last December, will work part time replacing Jeff Traine who resigned to become a patrolman in Olmsted Township. Micachaels is married to Chief Billy Michaels and trained at the Medina County Police Academy. Part time officer Thomas Telegdy seeks fewer hours, to be covered by part-time help. Special officer Charles Aliff is leaving for Olmsted Township.
