Mental Health Workshop Focuses on Elderly Well being
Elyria Lorain County Community College hosts an all day session titled Mental Health Assessment of the Elderly on May 9. The program runs 8:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. and covers medical issues mental social factors and distinguishing healthy aging from improper mental functioning. Registration is 20 dollars with a 15 dollar rate for same-agency or family participants.

Orthodox churchmen to worship in Oberlin
Two Russian Orthodox leaders from the Soviet Union will visit Oberlin for ecumenical worship at Christ Episcopal Church. Metropolitans David of Georgia and Archdeacon Angrey Chizov will meet with local religious and civic groups after arriving in Cleveland. The Ohio Council of Churches Peace Commission and the Interchurch Council of Greater Cleveland sponsor the visit.
