Dr. Harry N. Holmes head of the Oberlin Chemistry Department and his assistant Miss Ruth Corbet will return to Oberlin April 19 after delivering a paper at the American Chemical Society in Chapel Hill on isolating vitamin A. The pair worked at Severance Laboratory for years using dry ice to preserve oils and studying Ishinagai fish as a source of potent vitamin A oil.

Two Suspected Public Enemies Captured After Topeka Shootout

Three In Ohio Family Killed In Road Crash

Deputies report discovering 124 violators in a third traffic check and will issue arrest slips for violations. John H. Russell of Oberlin received a reckless driving arrest ticket while Waryl Radyk of East River street was cited for no driver’s license. Radyk fined 5 dollars plus costs. 4 dollars suspended.
