Lorain April 18 Forrest and Goodman owners of a local restaurant were arraigned before Federal Judge John Paul Jones in Cleveland on parochial possession of liquor. They were fined 2010 and costs each and sentenced to six days in the workhouse with their establishment ordered closed.
President Harding signed an executive order appointing Miss Alex Robertson former Congresswoman from Oklahoma as a welfare worker in the United States Veterans Bureau. The move bypasses civil service exams, enabling political appointment to a new post.
