Westlake High fight leads to felonious assault charge
At Westlake High School a 17 year old student was found lethargic after a restroom fight around 12 54 pm and flown to MetroHealth Medical Center with serious head injuries. Another student 18 year old Deandrew Smith turned himself in and was charged with felonious assault on bond awaited Rocky River Municipal Court.

Vermilion officials report a family friendly NMRA exhibit at Ritter Public Library featuring Division 4 members led by Bill Ferry of Westlake and his 15 year old son Billy. The display uses 2 by 4 foot modular sections assembled on site to create a continuous dog bone layout with scaled towns farms and trains, open noon to 5 pm Saturday and 1 to 4 pm Sunday.

Four people face charges after two tire thefts in Ridgeville. On April 2 at Joe's Auto Wrecking two men stole tires and a former employee Jesse L. Estep of Vermilion was arrested. A second theft at Zanelli Autocars involved three Cleveland residents and a black Dodge Ram seen leaving the lot.
