In Cleveland on April 15 mounted police dispersed a crowd at Public Square after a disorderly assembly. Several communists and spectators were left nursing bruises and cuts from the confrontation sparked by a soapbox speaker who shouted down with that flag.

About 200 communists marched to City Hall and demanded Welfare Federation official William L Lacy turn over the 4.5 million dollar community fund to the unemployed council. Police dispersed the throng with officers present. no arrests or serious injuries reported.
The Classification Amendment changes adopted last fall will be discussed by several hundred savings and loan officers from Cuyahoga Lake and Lorain counties at a meeting in Cleveland Wednesday April 16. The session starts at six o'clock and is the spring meeting of Group Number Eight of the Ohio Building Association League. Geo W Garthe Lorain district president will preside and main addresses will be by John F Fergus and James A Devine Columbus officers of the state organization. Delegates at the meeting all represent 105 savings and loan institutions.
The report lists WHE aiming toward a Senate seat with approximate total resources of 206,940,000. Alongside Mr Garthe, group officers include Robert Pyle of Painesville as vice president and Ralph Heikes of Cleveland as secretary.
Three former superintendents of the Kenia Orphans Home are sharply criticized in a state audit covering 1925 to 1923. Sylvis Garver Colonel Thoras F E Andrews and Coy Burton face blame for neglecting deposits mismanaging funds and misplacing checks. The current superintendent Captain Harold L Hayes receives praise for rehabilitation efforts amid ongoing political influence claims.
