Masters showcase proves age is just a number for 50s contenders
At Augusta National the 50s cohort led by Miguel Angel Jimenez Bernhard Langer and Fred Couples challenged the field. Jimenez shot 71 to finish four back of champion Bubba Watson, while Langer tied for eighth and Couples finished in the top 20 as rookies Spieth and Blixt impressed in their majors debut. The event awarded Masters invitations to top finishers with Goss earning low amateur honors during the week.
