Red Cross officials visit the hostages in Tehran

Two International Red Cross representatives entered the occupied U.S. Embassy in Tehran to visit American hostages and assess their health. The team remained inside with Iranian officials and a health minister, as envoys from Europe and Japan awaited the outcome of the visit. The Red Cross planned to report its health assessment to both Iranian and U.S. governments.

Probe fins park purchase status for Cuyahoga Valley

Family returns stunned by vandalism rampage

Ernest and Violet Brannon and their three children lost nearly all belongings when intruders struck their home at 330 Ninth St while the family visited relatives in Kentucky over Easter. Items from 25 Ninth St. appeared in a nearby attic, prompting police to arrest a 16 year old runaway from Mohican Youth Camp with rifles and knives found there. Two teens are being questioned. The Brannon family, with no renter's insurance, faced shock when the incident was discovered Friday.
