Suspected DUI and theft report in Medina County areas
On Wednesday at 8:44 p.m. in the 500 block Main St. Ryan Siwicki 28 of Elm St. was charged with driving under suspension OVI and driving in marked lanes. On Friday an off duty deputy observed a suspicious intoxicated man in the Glendalough St. area trying doors with no charges filed. A 35-year-old woman reported jewelry missing from her vehicle worth about 9000 after visiting an inmate at Grafton Correctional Institution.

Crook Street Bridge Closure Starts Monday in Lorain County
Lorain County Engineer Ken Carney announced Crook Street between Chamberlin and Indian Hollow roads will close at 8 am Monday for bridge replacement. Completion is projected by July 20. Local traffic only with detours. Project cost 803,500 funded through ODOT County Bridge Partnership. Work by Shelly Sands Inc of Zanesville.
