Essay contest on why I should like to own my home
All children are invited to an essay contest conducted by the Elyria Lorain County Real Estate Board for school children of Elyria. Prizes totaling 160 dollars will be awarded in three groups with first prizes from 20 to 15 dollars, plus several smaller prizes. Essays must be 500 words or less, written in ink on one side of paper, due May 15. judges include local educators and business leaders, with reports due May 25.

Home in the Sky Displays in Cleveland Skyscraper Exhibit
A two story full scale home labeled Home in the Sky is installed inside a Cleveland skyscraper as the centerpiece of the permanent Arts Exhibit at the Builders Exchange Building in Union Station. The exhibit spans a new court 35 feet high offering unobstructed views and close inspection, and features a home making center with free information on budgeting interior decorating and gardening.
