More than ninety percent of Firestone United Rubber Workers Local backed walking out, aligning with Goodyear locals who had voted to strike. Goodrich results will show 900 to 98 percent in favor. Train Kills 83 Year Old Man in Delphos
William Doan aged 83 was struck and killed by a passenger train in Delphos Ohio yesterday. Doan was struck as he crossed the tracks near the Peninsylvania line station and died at once. Local authorities are investigating the accident and notifying relatives.
