Lorain Man Murdered. Suspects Arrested Near Scene
Lorain police say Lamar Mark Taylor, 52, was beaten to death around 2:55 a.m. on East 34th Street. Clarence Adams III, 21, and Austin Diaz Diaz, 18, both residents of Lorain, were charged with murder and held without bond at Lorain City Jail. Moore, the victim’s former wife, described him as a caring man who moved in to help care for her mentally disabled son.

Elyria logged 1,524 motor vehicle crashes in 2011, the highest in Lorain County, with state Route 57 identified as the leading accident hotspot.
