Elyria Takes Care Of Its Own A High School Future
In a reflective essay Gary Paulsen style piece, the author lauds Elyria's steady progress in education led by E. Jean Harper. The district has raised state performance standings, implemented full-day kindergarten, and funded levies, while planning a new high school to replace aging facilities and address safety and energy concerns. The piece envisions a community united to ensure every child reaches potential and pledges a shared journey toward a modern, community resource.
