Home prices rise in most areas amid national median shift
Nationally the median price of new and existing homes rose 2.6 percent to 120000, with 130 of 184 metro areas up and 39 down. Gains exceeded 11 percent in Pueblo Colorado and other cities. upstate New York showed weakness. The San Francisco and San Jose metros posted the highest prices, while Jamestown New York and Lima Ohio were among the lowest.
