Elyria area fundraisers and events announced
The Elyria Public Library Foundation promotes a New Odyssey fundraiser at Elyria High School Center with tickets via eplsfoundation.org to benefit the Elyria Public Library System. Lorain County Community College hosts a University Partnership fair 3 to 6 p.m. at College Center Commons. Partnerships offer 50 bachelor and master degrees from 14 Ohio universities on campus, saving students up to 50 000 compared with external costs. The Elyria Democratic Party holds a spaghetti dinner fundraiser April 26 at St. Mary Hall, with bets on a raffle and appearances by Betty Sutton. The Elyria Democratic Women’s Club runs a basket raffle supporting Lorain County Valor Home Women’s Project. College Women’s Link and HR sponsor Sexual Assault Awareness Month events with community partners. Elyria Senior Men’s Fellowship meets Tuesdays with programs including Titanic and physical therapy talks.
