Winners In County Scholarship Tests Are Announced
Ohio Attorney General Thomas J. Herbert approved the form of a proposed constitutional amendment to redistrict the state. The plan, backed by the Cleveland Federation of Labor, would create 35 senatorial districts each electing four representatives and one senator by population. Within senatorial districts, representative districts would be drawn unless the larger district is a single county. The amendment also calls for population based redistricting of congressional seats and ends at large elections for congressmen.
