The Exchange Club voted to surrender its charter and affiliate with a new board, aiming to unite cities under a single service banner. Leaders Jake Schafer and Gor Bim spearheaded the move amid calls for stronger regional collaboration.
The Board discussed buying a fireproof cabinet to protect records with a cost of 854.55. Superintendent F. Jesse Casper of Bryan Ohio was rushed to Memorial Hospital yesterday afternoon after injuries while putting on a signal guard for the New York Central Railroad. He was admitted for treatment of several lacerations on head and face.

Columbus City Iowa elected a full slate of women to every city office in a landslide ticket. Miss Eva Bretz was chosen mayor and Miss Mary Moore treasurer. Nellie Moore assessor. and council seats went to Mrs RK Jamieson Mrs J C Richie Mrs Joe Allen Mrs Thomas Robertson and Mrs Jos Schoeh.
A Cuyahoga county divorce case involving George T. Barner and Rosamond S. Barner was moved to Elyria for a fair hearing. Rosamond Barner alleges biased Cleveland officials and judges, cites prior cases and a 1918 assault by Edmund Haserodt, and seeks divorce and alimony.
Reuben Davis, three term mayor of Ashland and two term Ashland County sheriff, died today after a nine month illness. He also held other local offices. Funeral services set for Thursday afternoon.

At a noon Rotary Club meeting guest Clarence Terry of Tacoma spoke in favor of building a municipal swimming pool. Kiwanis president George Tlichwinr urged the club to support the project while a novel program featured scooters from Toni Cook of Colson Company and a panel of judges.
In Verona Georgia two men died and more than twenty passengers were injured when a street car sped down a hill lost control struck a garage and wrecked several autos. The dead were Charles W. Bersel 38 and William Isherwood 64. Conductor William Bish sustained injuries and James Wilson had a fractured leg.
Mrs. Eli Dague of Spencer dies here after a brief illness. Funeral arrangements are in charge of Eliodt of Spencer with details forthcoming at Memorial Home and local services expected this evening.
