Gangland figure Gallo shot dead outside restaurant

Gallo a 42 year old ex convict and gang leader was shot three times by a lone gunman at 5 30 am in a New York restaurant and died at Beekman Downtown Hospital. He had been released from Sing Sing last March after eight years for extortion and recently married Lina Essary. The attack follows another gangland killing in Queens but police say the incidents are not connected.
