Breakfast with a Buddy brings students and guests to Copopa and Columbia schools
Copopa Elementary and Columbia Middle School hosted a four day Breakfast with a Buddy program starting March 19 allowing kindergarten through eighth grade students to bring a friend for a light breakfast and school tours. About 600 buddies joined throughout the week. Principal Troy Bunner and Columbia Middle Principal Bob Magyar led the effort with staff Jessica Bowman Julie Bowes and Susie Dunn. Superintendent Graig Bansek said the event was a success and plans to continue annually.
