Out of town relatives in attendance included Mr. and Mrs. William Cory and son Gerald, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Lapp, Mr. and Mrs. George Lapp, Mrs. William Vogler and Ralph, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Lapp and Mrs. Lloye Leidbeiser, all of Elyria.
The Philathea Boye Class of St. Peter's Evangelical Sunday School plans a regular meeting in the chief parlors this evening. The event features an in-house party with hostesses Mrs Henry Rane Mrs A C Kreeger Mrs Fred Krieg Mrs Walter Kreeger and Mrs Fred Ko included.

Mrs Harold Kunkel visited Lorain Wednesday afternoon. Miss Pearl Stauffer of Bluffton College stayed with her brother Russell Stauffer in Amherst. Mrs Hannah Jackson of Lorain visited Mr and Mrs B A Venner. Rev C Esenmidt from Valley City visited Wednesday evening. Mrs Henry Kane from Lorain was a caller. Rev E Wierth of Waller City spent Wednesday evening in Amherst.
Avon notices a Lenten service at St Marys church on Wednesday at 7:30 pm with sermon benediction and holy hour. Afterward a meeting in the school for committee heads ahead of a parish card social in two weeks at the parish hall.
Mrs KB C Iuwald welcomed Koneta Club of Lorain to her Vilanave home Tuesday. Two tables of 500 were in play with the h zh score trophy awarded to Mrs Barney Black and second place to Mrs Leonard Hack. Luncheon served at the clue in the sames.
Harris and Miss Lucy Tan entertained the Ladies Society of the Congregational Church at the church parlors. Wednesday afternoon Mrs. Clinton Jackson, president, presided at the business meeting which was followed by a social hour. Refreshments were served to about 25.
The Holy Name Society Group Two at St Joseph Church will gather at Joseph Gilles residence in East Quatrus this evening. Members are asked to assemble at 7:80 at the school hall with a lantern to Truscello on Forest Street. Group Three will also be notified of their meeting this evening.

Mr and Mrs Marion Clawson returned home after visiting the groom's parents in New London where friends gave them a miscellaneous shower. The couple were married several weeks ago and celebrated with the party during their stay.

The Epworth Leazie gathered at Miss Ruth Neumeyer home last Sunday with special music at the Methodist church featuring a Sasaphone solo by Richard Van Arsdale and a quartet. Eighty nine attended Sunday School. The M E Choir will meet with Mr and Mrs Jay Jasper Thursday night. Mr and Mrs H C Bartter will host the Friendly Class Friday April 7 All members urged to attend. Miss Edna Orden a missionary teaching in Africa schools will speak at the Baptist church next Sunday evening. The Baptist Mission Circle holds its annual Birthday Dinner Wednesday evening.
A Baptist Sunday School program on Indian Missions was presented by Mrs. J. H. Longdon’s class last Sunday morning. The class read parts and shared the program with the congregation.
