Senate panel finds CIA used unapproved interrogation methods
The Senate Intelligence Committee reports CIA officers subjected terrorism suspects to techniques not approved by the Justice Department or CIA leaders, detaining 26 of 119 in custody. The six year probe with a 6300 page record concluded the program harmed U.S. credibility and misled authorities.
