A 54 year old warden Wallace Pack was found dead in a shallow ditch after a farm supervisor Billy Moore was shot. An inmate, a 30 year old robber serving 12 years, fled after a scuffle and was captured within 15 minutes. The gun was recovered later. Autopsies to be performed in Houston.
