Elyria resident Melvin Wallace 57 jumped in to assist Elyria Sgt. Robert Finch during a robbery struggle in front of Wallace’s home. Suspect Leon Moore Jr. 25 was captured. two others were arrested for complicity. Moore charged with aggravated robbery. all three to be arraigned Monday.

In Santa Cruz a 30 year old woman, rejected by a neighbor, dressed in chocolate glaze as a bunny and attempted to surprise him. Police say the incident led to a sticky struggle and the woman was placed under 72 hour mental health observation with no charges filed. Names of those involved were not released.
