New LCCC President Plans No Major Changes
Richard R. Mellett was installed as interim president of Lorain Community College after Omar Olson chose early retirement. A 15 year old Lorain boy, Gerald Tomecko of 447 Colorado Ave, was critically injured in a hit skip on Colorado Ave near Root Rd in Sheffield Village. He suffered head injuries and a broken left leg and was unconscious in Lorain St Joseph Hospital ICU. Police identified him with help from his family and WEOL broadcasts.
