Grafton council settles wife’s anger over late husband bill
Donna Skidmore of Skidmore’s Mobil alleges village officials insulted Otis Skidmore after they paid 300 dollars on a 2100 dollar electric bill and 600 past due auto repair charges from 1976 to 1978. The council says the claim lacks proof but honors a moral obligation. Skidmore argues bills were unpaid and notes her husband’s generosity and death in 1982.
