Edward A. Gallagher 31, one of two teachers fired from Lorain County Community College in 1967, was named acting provost and chief administrative officer for Oakland Community College Auburn Hills campus near Detroit. He earned his doctorate at the University of Michigan after leaving the college amid AAUP censure of the administration. Gallagher, son of Ann Arbor News editor Arthur P.
