Global artistry of Leo and Diane Dillon at Akron Art Museum

The Akron Art Museum hosts The Global Artistry of Leo and Diane Dillon through June 21 in the Corbin Foundation Gallery. The traveling exhibit, sponsored by the Sisler McFawn Foundation, comes via the National Center for Children's Illustrated Literature in Abilene, Texas. Alison Caplan notes the show aligns with the Virginia Hamilton Conference at Kent State University honoring the late folk tale interpreter Virginia Hamilton. The Dillons’ work emphasizes global tales, cultural research, and shared human themes across diverse languages and customs.
