Supergrass could cut lawn work as world uses grows
University of Alberta professor Jan Weiser reports a weed free grass variety halves weed growth and needs only three mowings per season. The crop, from Rocky Mountain stock, yields a natural herbicide and may replace current grasses in six years, with mowing reduced further by growth inhibitors.
