The final daily Lenten service of the week at St John’s Lutheran church, under Grace and St John’s, will be held tomorrow at noon with Rev. E Malkow of Cleveland Lutheran churches as guest speaker. His topic is The Motives Behind the Cross. Grace church girls will sing a special number. Reverend Malkow previously spoke on The Two Thieves to over 200 people. St John’s Ladies’ quartet will sing. A closing Communion service will be held tomorrow evening at Grace and St John’s at 7:00.

Survivors Reach Port After Norwegian Tanker Sinking
Twenty nine survivors from a Norwegian tanker torpedoed off the Atlantic ship were brought to Gloucester New Jersey by a Portuguese freighter after five hours of fire and sinking.
