Oberlin church plans Kentucky mission trip
First Church in Oberlin will send 35 volunteers aged 13 and older to Whitesburg Kentucky from July 26 to August 1 to build homes for needy families. Children under 13 may go with an adult. For details call Brandy at (440) 775-1711.

Lorain native author Toni Morrison will dedicate a bench in Oberlin on April 23 at North Main and Lorain streets. The project honors enslaved people who sought refuge in Oberlin as part of the Bench by the Road initiative by the Toni Morrison Society.
